A Day at the Philadelphia Zoo

Well, to make the most of the holiday weekend, I took Friday off and we all headed down to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was a great time. My parents came down and so did Kris' mom, sister and niece. We spent the afternoon checking out animals. We could not have asked for a better day weather wise. And, since we joined the zoo, we can now go back for free anytime we want for the next year. And considering the group we had, we actually saved money on buying the membership. I'm sure we'll be heading back soon. There were several animals we didn't get to see. By the way, the Big Cats House is under construction, so don't expect to see the Lions or Tigers.
